In the past, decks were predominantly constructed of
pressure treated pine and other natural woods.
Natural woods are still a popular deck material,
however in the past few years there has been a great
increase in the availability and use of various
composite and vinyl decking materials. The benefit
of the newer decking materials is the low
maintenance needs, longer expected life and the
greater range of colors available.
Deck Portfolio
These pictures
show the grand steps from a deck surrounding a pool.
We built a patio in front of the pool house and
created a wide sitting area with the deck steps.

This pictures shows a raised paver deck
(patio). This is a unique way to build a deck.

This picture shows a low cedar deck. A low
deck such as this creates an open inviting deck.
This is a pressure treated deck. Notice the
inviting wide steps for access. Also notice the
vertical decking used to create storage under deck.

This is a stone deck. An engineer was
consulted in the design of this elevated stone deck
(patio). This is another option instead of wood used
to create a deck.

This is a raised stone and brick deck. This
stone and brick deck is constructed onto stone piers
for support.
