Fire pits are becoming more and more popular in
today's landscapes.
Remember camping and picnicking as a kid? Sitting around the fire is a large part of the fond memories. Fire has a way of drawing people close, for the warmth, for the light and for the protection that fire has provided since the dawn of time.
By adding a firepit to your patio project, the warmth provided will extend the use of the patio into the cooler seasons.
The fire pit will be a focal point and will provide for many hours of conversation and reflection to all who sit around and enjoy. Of course many people will also start new traditions of cooking after a firepit is installed. Hotdogs, marshmallows, and the like never tasted as good as they do over a fire in your back yard.
It is important to note that there are safety issues to consider when building a firepit.
We we can discuss these with you during the planning
process. See our fire pit portfolio below.

The firepit shown below is built above ground and
creates a focal point for this part of the patio.

This belowground stone fire pit (shown in two photos
below) is a
welcoming area for entertaining. After completion
during the fall 2006, the fire pit was a hit with
everyone who enjoyed the patio.
